A Sustainable Industry

ProjetoAlumínio®
incorporates sustainability

throughout all its industrial processes and into the product itself.

We carry out several initiatives focused on sustainability, covering environmental, social, and economic aspects.

  • Industrial Waste Management and Recycling;
  • Use of Recycled Materials;
  • Effluent Treatment;
  • Solvent Treatment;
  • Compliance and Inspection;
  • Contribution to Sustainable Construction.

Sustainable Polyethylene

Our polyethylene is 100% sustainable and sourced from qualified companies, ensuring a high-performance material with low environmental impact.

95% Recycled

The aluminum sheets we use are 95% recycled, originating from beverage cans.

Sustainable Minerals

We use minerals for our Fire Retardant ACP (FR) that come from environmentally certified mining companies. In addition to their responsible sourcing, these additives and fillers are recyclable.

Sustainable Numbers

Our production process involves the use and transformation of natural resources on a large scale.

These numbers are impressive, especially when we talk about sustainability and conscious consumption.

  • 0 in reprocessing, reducing carbon emissions
  • 0 is treated and reprocessed internally
  • 0 post-consumer beverage cans that become ACP
  • 0 post-consumer plastic bags that become ACP

We are a
Zero Waste Industry

Our ACM is 100% recyclable, following a circular and sustainable economy flow.

Circular Economy

At the end of its useful life, ACP is fully recyclable by a team dedicated to managing this waste;

  • The aluminum is melted down again, and the polyethylene is reprocessed, creating a cycle.
  • The sustainability department separates the metal from the core for reprocessing.
  • The reprocessed metal returns to the supplier.
  • The polyethylene returns to the production line in the form of grains.

Effluent and Solvent Treatment

ProjetoAlumínio® has a wastewater treatment plant responsible for treating both the chemical reagents from the painting line and the sanitary effluents.

During this process, all heavy materials are removed from the chemical effluents, generating solid waste that is sent to a specialized company. The heavy solvents from the painting line are burned to release the gas in a non-toxic form.

The treated liquid portion—water free of toxic components—is stored in a lagoon and reused for internal irrigation and firefighting. Nothing that poses a risk to the environment leaves the factory.
